We met at the Prescott Forest Service Building downtown to go over the game plan for today's activity. The plan: to work on converting the intersection of TR# 391/327/9401J into a defined single track corridor. With a great turnout from members, we were able to conquer the days task with ease. With picks and McCLouds trenching and grubbing, the decision was made to keep working til' about noon and add more single track to Prescott's trail system. After the day was done, we cut roughly 800 yards of new trail plus the corridor. Some work still remains for the Over The Hill Gang, but in a couple of weeks, this new section of trail should be ready to roll on.

There was a nice article in the August issue of Mountain Bike Action detailing the "Whiskey Off Road," put on by Todd Sadow of EPIC Rides, who has been quite generous with a donation to PMBA via the Raffle of the Titus Rockstar 29er. The author also interviewed Chris Hosking who works for the City of Prescott's Trail Division and is also on the PMBA Trails Committee. Thank you to Richard for the great write up. It gives readers a little taste of what the Prescott Trail system has to offer and what is yet to come.
